Proverbs 4:16 (CEB)

16 They can’t sleep or rest
until they do wrong
     or harm
     some innocent victim

To me this sounds like the Sting Operations run around the country. These police run them through the night. They “don’t sleep” and they “don’t rest” until they meet their quota of harming innocent victims. Not to mention their families and the trickle down effects: co-workers, friends, neighbors, community, etc.

Psalms 22:1-2 (NIV)

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me,
so far from my cries of anguish?
My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer,
by night, but I find no rest.

PSALM 22 would be what one would pray after they have been caught in one of these Sting Operations. There will be a lot of pain as a result of being captured. Very few are lucky enough to get off with a light charge. Certainly not in the state of Washington.

It is best to stay as far away from the Criminal Justice system as possible. Read Proverbs and follow King Solomon’s advice. If you or a family member are ever caught up in one of these then my advice would be to do your research, prepare your self for a likely loss, and do a lot of praying.

With Strength, Courage, and Prayer,
-Samuel
